What’s New Wednesday: April 7

I’ve taken a break from the usual stuff this month in celebration of National Poetry Month. Every post this month is poetry related. For those of you who have come to enjoy the Wacky Wednesdays, Coffee and Contemplation, and other postings, they will return in May. I feel I needed a break from the usual stuff. It’s rejuvenating. Every post on Saturday and Sunday this month is new, previously unpublished poetry. All these featured poems come from my newest collection of poetry which is coming April 13. To learn more, check out the Black Chaos Page. The eBook is available for pre-order and several platforms and the paperback will be available on April 13.

I also have some spontaneous projects coming. These sort of popped up without much planning and I’m trying to finish them before I lose momentum. I have more information as I get closer to completing them. Some of that includes more serial fiction. I have a couple stories in development. One I hope to have finished by the end of the month. Once I have a couple more ready and available, I’ll update you all on my personal online store and tell you about some of the new products I have. I’m getting a lot of great feedback on one of my new items and I hope to have a few more before the Summer. That’s all for now. The regularly scheduled blogging will continue in May.

Backstage Concert

The blue hue on the
Black Violin
Light beams shine
In the haze
Noises lured by the
Anticipation
A cacophony
Sound waves thriving
Picking humming
Vibrating thumping
Hidden in darkness
Behind bright lights

All My Keys Don’t Have Locks

Blue black barriers
You can’t talk to invisible monsters
Needles hold happy thoughts
Bottles carry the anger
Suitcases weigh two tons
Dreams only come true if you buy them
The kitty cat kicks around the conundrum
Who has time for fairy tale partners
The tattooed trees don’t speak anymore
Death’s doorknob dangles
The sidewalk’s grift is flawless
I want the boardgame to end
