Conventions and New Things

I am pleased to announce that I have finalized things and will have a table at Phoenix Fan Fusion in Phoenix, AZ. The convention takes place on Friday, May 24-Sunday, May 26, 2024. This is the second largest pop culture convention in the country, and this will be my first time selling at the convention. This will hopefully introduce my work to a whole new crowd of people. I will have more details about this as we get closer to the event.

Also, I am releasing a new book later this year. This September will be five years since I published my collection of short stories, The Morbid Museum, and a new edition of this book is coming soon. You can already find it for pre-order on many outlets. This new edition will feature two previously unpublished stories as well as an excerpt from my next collection of short stories, The Baku Banquet, which I hope to finish in time for a Fall 2025 release.

I will have more information about other conventions and events later this year. Stay tuned for more details.

It’s Kickstarter Launch Day

The time is here for the Spooky Poker Playing Cards Kickstarter campaign. That’s a mouthful. This campaign only runs for thirty (30) days which means you will have until September 28 to make a pledge. I’ll send out another reminder a couple days before it ends. You can get more information about the cards and see more photos at the Spooky Poker Playing Cards Page. Or you can click the link below to go directly to the Kickstarter Page.

In other news, this weekend I’ll have a vendor table at the Tucson Comic-Con being held at the Tucson Convention Center. If you live in Arizona, I recommend you attend to see all the cool stuff. Most of it won’t be horror related but you can still find a few hidden gems if you look. I have a few other conventions in the works for the remainder of the year. I’m still awaiting details on some of them, but once I know something I’ll pass that information along. Thank you all for supporting me so far and I hope some of you can make a pledge to the Kickstarter. Stay spooky!

What’s New Wednesday: October

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates. I had a great time at YumaCon a couple weeks ago. I sold more books there than at any other convention. My bookmarks also sold very well. I still have two more conventions before the year is over. Later this month, I’ll be part of the vendor section of the Tucson TerrorFest. They tried this vendor convention part of the TerrorFest in 2019 and it was successful so they’re bringing it back. You can learn more details on their website about the film festival and the vendors. It’s happening on Oct 23 and 24 here in Tucson, AZ.

Also happening in Tucson, the TusCon Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Convention is doing it’s 48th year. That’s a long time. I will have a table at that convention as well. I’ll be selling bookmarks and copies of my short horror stories collection The Morbid Museum. I’ll have a couple other items as well. Come by and say hi. I hope to have my first full length novel finished by the middle of next year so I can have it for sale at all the conventions next year. Of course, if you’re unable to make it to either of these events, you can always purchase my works online. I hope you’re all doing well and I hope to see some of you at the next convention.
