It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Sorry for that. I have been keeping up on other channels and posting some cool things. There’s a lot going on. If you didn’t notice already, I published a new collection of poetry yesterday. You can learn more about it and find purchase links here, Corbin’s Catacombs. It’s a very short poetry collection, but it’s already getting some amazing reviews. Tell me what you think.
This weekend I have an exhibitor table at Mad Monster Party Arizona in Glendale, AZ. This is my second year running a table and I’m looking forward to it. If you’re in that area or are attending the convention, stop by and say hello. I’ll have copies of my new poetry collection along with lots of other cool stuff for sale. Some things you can only find if you see me in person. You can’t buy them anywhere else.
I have also started a new political blog. I never thought I’d work so hard on government and social things, but I’ve caught the bug. If you want to read about those kinds of things, you can check out The Proper Deal Blog and tell me what you think. This is a left leaning blog, so if you’re not interested in that, just stop following my posts. Thanks! I hope to help illicit some real change through my own writing.
I hope you’re all doing well too. It’s a crazy time to be alive, but I’m looking forward to all of it.
I had mentioned a while back that I would be a vendor at the Mad Monster Party Horror Convention in Glendale, AZ. This was on July 4th weekend, and I had a blast. I got to meet some celebrities and I sold some books. With this being the third time I’ve sold books at a convention, I think I have a nice base line for how much I’ll sell each time. That’s some valuable information for people on a budget. I made many new friends as well. Some I know I’ll see at next year’s convention and some I may see at other conventions.
Speaking of other conventions, I’m working on the paperwork for YumaCon. This is the comic convention in Yuma, AZ. This convention will be on October 2 and 3 this year. This convention is managed by City of Yuma officials which means there’s more paperwork. I’m awaiting answers to some questions before I can move forward. This convention will help me verify the base line of sales I mentioned earlier. I plan to debut a couple new bookmarks at this convention as well. If you didn’t already know, I sell bookmarks too.
I never did an official product launch for my bookmarks, but I intend to as I roll out new designs. At the Mad Monster Party convention, I showed of my spooky collection of bookmarks. These are all Halloween themed and you can purchase them in my Shop if you’re interested. If you want to get the latest updates regarding what’s new or coming soon, be sure to sign up for my email newsletter and get a free eBook in the first email after you verify your email address. Click Here or click the “Free eBook” link in the main menu. Until next time my HellCats.
If you’re not familiar with Mad Monster Party, I suggest you check out their website. This is a horror themed convention and I’ll have a vendor table. It’s happening in Glendale, AZ on the Fourth of July weekend. They have a great list of celebrities who will be in attendance. It looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. What will I be doing there? At my vendor table, I’ll be selling copies of my book “The Morbid Museum,” a collection of short horror stories framed around a curator and museum of death.
I’ll have paperback copies and a few hardbound copies. I will also have an exclusive collection of spooky haikus available for those spooky poetry fans. “Haunting Haikus” has 23 haikus along with some images. It’s a quick read but fun. I will also have a few bookmarks for sale. These will have spooky themes like skulls, pumpkins, and witches. I’ll post some photos once I have everything collected and packaged. I’m still waiting on a few deliveries. I’ll post more details as I get them. If you’ll be in Glendale, AZ on the Fourth of July weekend, come to the Mad Monster Party, find my table, and say hi. I’m looking forward to hanging with my fellow horror enthusiasts.
