Chest tightens and eyes burn
Not sleeping or eating
No desire to move or think or feel
Broken pieces of dreams hit the ground
Pain only gets worse with age

The light kisses their pale skin
I long to touch it
A moment frozen in time
Breathless –
They cover their
Imperfections with darkness
I shine more light to see
Caressing in the moment
The warmth I give
Like the Sun to the Moon –
Their body is perfection
Soft and strong
I hold them closer
We share our bodies
Like the Moon shares Sunlight

it’s another day in the life of me
crawling through time with nothing left inside
and all i ask is for me to be pleased
i have nothing left, nothing left to be
the only sounds heard are the sounds i’ve sighed
it’s another day in the life of me
to conquer this feeling life should be seized
i should charge the Ocean and hit the Tide
and all i ask is for me to be pleased
no love to be found, nothing i can see
just horrible sounds of those who have lied
it’s another day in the life of me
the door to my future i hold the key
just beyond that is a world vast and wide
and all i ask is for me to be pleased
the problems i see and will never flee
i haven’t backed down and never have cried
it’s another day in the life of me
and all i ask is for me to be pleased
