Flashback Friday Poetry: The Never-Ending Story

raped again
it never ends
molested again
too many friends
it hits within
the pain wont mend
i can’t defend
it happens again

why’s this happening
it isn’t stopping
all of them screaming
i can do nothing
i hear when i’m dreaming
all of the screaming
it keeps increasing
never ceasing

causing more tears
from childhood fears
the devil’s face appears
through eyes, oh so sincere
all it does is leer
at everything from the rear
while their future is unclear
his thoughts they will fear

Early poetry from James. From the poetry collection Pariah Bound: The Lonesome Poetry.

Flashback Friday Poetry: I Am Jaded

i am jaded
these are things you cannot see
my life should be traded
traded for nothing at least
i crawl through the desert
searching for something in me
no one will help me
help me or make me achieve

i am naked
in this illusional stream
wash away the pain
pain that infests within me
my life feels empty
because of the torture i’ve seen
my heart is bitter
as bitter as an untamable beast
all that i wanted
has been nothing more than a dream
and all that is given
is nothing but torment for me

i am the maiden
searching for true love’s company
into the fire
the fire of Hell where i’ll sleep
dreaming of whispers
that cannot penetrate the deep
with my sorrow
sorrow that never lifts from me

Early poetry from James. From the poetry collection Pariah Bound: The Lonesome Poetry.

Flashback Friday Poetry: Death

death is the man
who searches for life
he takes it away
with a flash of light

that young man there
he was stabbed and shanked
the stupid bastard
tried to be a saint
to save a girl’s life
they took the bait
it was his life
he let them take
unfortunately for her
the life wasn’t saved
the stupid bastard
tried to be a saint

my death is uncertain
my time will end soon
after all i have seen
death is my only friend
he’ll always be there
when others have fled
he’ll be my bestest bud
my friend to the end

Early poetry from James. From the poetry collection Pariah Bound: The Lonesome Poetry.
