The Tales of Enderas: Death’s Visit

as the Dragon lay dying
there upon the ground sighing
next to Her a dark figure
coming to take the creature
began to carry Her off
the Winged Horse cried, “Wait! Now stop!”
I wish to put Her at peace.
Who are you I ask to cease?”
“I am He who has no name.”
from the dark cloak a voice came
“To Her rightful home I go,
where the stars do hang so low.
To have a name as you have,
Eras I will be known as.”

The Tales of Enderas: Dragon’s History

the Evil One was once Pure
good thoughts in Her mind for sure
until one day wandering
She found something alluring
none know what it may have been
but it changed Her heart within
driven by lust for power
Her heart Greed did devour
She began the War of wars
to which Righteousness did soar
Her campaign ended in blood
with the two of us in mud
She was once Pure long ago
until Her heart sank so low

Flashback Friday Poetry: Peaceful Darkness

each night as many lay their heads to sleep
the Darkness inside me begins to creep
perverse satisfaction is all i seek
to close my Stained eyes and forever sleep
this peaceful Death, how it would taste so sweet

some might find this to be an extreme thought
to end a life when for so long you fought
but for all the work no Joy you have brought
and is wishing for Peace such a bad thought
all have wished for Peace; they wish it a lot

Early poetry from James.
