Poetry Monday: Crippling Thoughts that Take Your Breath Away

Walking and sobbing
Under the moonlight

The weather is lovely
But still humid

Too exhausted to keep
Walking but I do

Replaying the scene
Reliving the pain

Tiring myself to
Relieve the stress

This attack lasts
Longer than others

I must remove the
Triggers in my life

Easier said than done

From the poetry collection Men Are Garbage.
