Throwback Thursday Poetry: Christmas Conniving

the wonderful Christmas cheer is here
it floats on without dying
the only thing you have to fear
is the fear of everyone lying
they lie over here; they lie over there
they lie without even trying
hark my words my dear, you hear
there will be no more conniving

Early poetry from James. From the poetry collection Pariah Bound: The Lonesome Poetry.
