Tuesday Poetry: Alaskan Summers

Bright light twilight
Darkness held at bay
Late night sunshine
Dreams never return
Sleep is foreign
The day never leaves
I thrive at night
And my night is gone
Where is my peace
Where’s the starlit sky
Kept away by
Daylight eternal

From the poetry collection Cats, Coffee, Catharsis.
